Raksha Bandhan is ritualistic ceremony of tying the sacred thread “Raksha”, which protects the person from all sorts of evils. Raksha is personified as the divine power who makes the worshipper fearless.
The tradition of Raksha Bandhan has changed significantly. in modern times, celebrated as the festival only meant for brothers and sisters. In Vedic times Raksha Bandhan was performed to God to get protection from all sort of bad things which might occur throughout the year.
Let us get together at the Radha Govind Dham temple to create this special bond with our divine protector Lord Krishna by tying of the sacred thread of “Raksha” on thus auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan
