JD+Makr Sankranti

Join us to celebrate the

63rd anniversary of Jagadguruttam Diwas

On January 14 in 1957 Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj was endowed with the title of ‘Jagadguruttam’, i.e. ‘best of all Jagadgurus who precede Him in history.’ Lovingly addressed as Shree Maharaj Ji, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj has shown the world the simplest and the most straightforward path to fulfill the true aim of human life.
The literature and teachings that He has introduced, have reconciled the world’s various philosophies, giving the most precious treasure of spiritual wealth to every soul on earth. His various philanthropic activities have saved thousands of lives, provided key necessities and resources to the disadvantaged, and educated many girls from poor communities.
The monuments He has built have brought and continue to bring peace and joy to so many. Thousands visit the great monument Prem Mandir in Vrindavan regularly. The great ‘Sadhana’ halls Shri Maharaj Ji has built have supported countless souls in their spiritual endeavors. His fatherly, merciful and divine nature has inspired many to walk on the path to God. It is absolutely impossible to describe all He has done for the world. Join us in special chanting starting at 11am followed by Arti and bhog. Mahaprasad will be served.
Makarsankranti celebrations will begin at 1.30pm with kite flying outside the temple. Feel free to bring your own kites or purchase from temple at nominal price.
