I Feel God’s Grace
Radha Madhav Dham hosted a Devotional Intensive this year from Jun 28–Jul 13, 2014. These were amazing 2 weeks that we all (500+ participants) spent here in the Divinely serene atmosphere, soaking in the breathtaking beauty of the ashram and experiencing the powerful effects of chanting.
And one such beautiful experience is shared in a guest post below by a young devotee Pooja Patel. Pooja has received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Fresno and will be pursuing graduate studies. She came to Radha Madhav Dham for the first time for this Intensive and fell in love with the place, the philosophy it offered and felt God’s Grace…
I don’t understand why God keeps gracing me. It’s like Shree Maharaj Ji keeps trying to get to know me. A bhaiya just randomly came to me right now and asked if I’d like to go in Maharaj Ji’s room to catch a few minutes seeing the devotees do ‘Charan Abhishek’. I was sitting against the wall following the chanting but took the offer anyways. I looked around Maharaj Ji’s room to see the majority of people remembering Him. I tried really hard, but just couldn’t get myself to be so touched simply by looking at His picture. That’s not stopping me from trying though. I sat right at the end of his bed and looked him in the eye and prayed: I am not worthy to receive you, but say your name and I shall be healed.
After coming here, I’ve learned how important it is to know a Guru to get to God. I always prayed to God, but never cared for a Guru. Now, I am beginning to understand this thing called “God’s Grace” and apparently that’s what brought me to Radha Madhav Dham. Perhaps Shree Maharaj Ji is trying to reach out to me so I can complete this link to God. There’s a lot to absorb, but I’m going to take it one day at a time.
