Curriculum

The curriculum for these classes has been prepared by Swami Nikhilanand, senior preacher at Radha Madhav Dham, Austin.

The topics include:
1. Appreciating Our Hindu Heritage & Culture
2. Reason for different forms of God in Hinduism
3. Proper understanding of 3 tatvas (entities) : Brahm, Jeev, Maya,Law of Karm
4. Aim of Life
5. Saints
6. Our Hindu Scriptures
7. General understanding of other main religions in the world

Teachers

Deepali is a Computer Science professional from Delhi Institute of Technology, having worked for various IT companies ranging from Fujitsu ICIM, Tata Infotech to Dell Services. She is currently working at Healthcare IT company called MedAssets. She has 2 sons – Udgam Goyal & Naman Goyal.

Deepali’s love of teaching kids about Hinduism blossomed as she noticed her two sons taking interest in these topics and bringing them into their lives while growing up. Udgam now goes to MIT. Deepali and her husband Peeyush have been organizing Hinduism classes in Plano area for the last 7 years and been teaching at Radha Madhav Dham Youth Camps for the last 3 years.

 

Nagappa Battikeri

Nagappa Batikeri is a software professional with over 25 years of experience in design, development and implementing the solutions. Completed his Master of Computer Applications from Sri Venkateshwara University, Andhra Preadesh, India. He served for various companies ranging from Birlasoft to some of the fortune 500 companies such as Toyota, HP, Symantec, TCS.  Currently working on a project for a Texas Agency’s Health and Human Services Commission. Nagappa has 2 daughters – Abhitha and Anusha. 
 
Nagappa has been teaching Hinduism class for the past 8 years at Radha Madhav Dham, Austin and has a great experience in creating lesson plans and delivering content with attractive visual aids to enrich the learning experience for students. Over the past 10 years, he has been acquiring profound vedic knowledge on our Sanatana Dharm and deepened the understanding of various aspects of Hinduism as written in our scriptures.
